PARKLAND, FL- Florida daily cases slightly increased on Tuesday. The percent of positive results ranged from 3.86% to 6.19% over the past 2 weeks and was 4.22% on Monday, September 14, 2020. This percentage calculated is for people that test positive for the first time and does not include people that had previously tested positive.

Here are the current numbers according to the Florida Department of Health as of Tuesday, September 15, 2020:

Florida has 668,846 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 2,701 in 1 day.

Broward County has 74,689 confirmed cases, an increase of 164 in 1 day.

Parkland has 481 confirmed cases, an increase of 5 in 1 day. 

Coral Springs has 3,312 confirmed cases, an increase of 12 in 1 day. 

Deaths in Florida related to COVID-19: 12,787 an increase of 77 in 1 day.

Broward County has 5,633 (7.5%) hospitalizations with 1,288 (1.7%) deaths due to COVID-19. Deaths increased by 4 in 1 day. The median age is 39.

Broward County Percent Positive: 4.1% per the latest data on September 14, 2020.

Broward County Hospital Bed Availability: Hospitals have 1099 (21.3%) beds available and 93 (20.1%) adult ICU beds available per the latest data on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
