PATERSON, NJ- Law enforcement officials are seeking information in an overnight shooting that sent one man to the hospital on Tuesday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, members of the Paterson Police Department were called to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center at approximately 2;57 a.m. after the 26-year old Paterson sought treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Based on the initial investigation the victim was shot in the area of Grand Street.
