NUTLEY, NJ - With Church Hill being transformed into parking for staff at John H. Walker Middle School, the Letters to the Editor page of TAPinto Nutley has become the new place to fight for one's cause. In December, readers saw an exchange between the Township of Nutley and Prism, the developers of the On3 project on what was the abandoned Roche North American headquarters.

In a nutshell, the municipal border between the Township of Nutley and the City of Clifton runs through the On3 campus. The border even runs through some buildings. In order to prevent motor vehicle traffic from moving between the Nutley side of the campus and the Clifton side, Nutley officials erected a boundary on the Nutley side. Both Prism, (the On3 developer) and the City of Clifton have taken legal action against the township of Nutley.

In December, the Nutley Board of Commissioners took advantage of TAPinto Nutley's reach to present an open letter to the community. That letter follows:

Open Letter from Mayor Tucci to Nutley Residents Regarding ON3 Redevelopment Project

Not long after the Nutley letter was published, Eugene Diaz, Principal Partner of Prism Capital Partners, issued a rebuttal to the Nutley mayor's open letter. That rebuttal follows:

Prism Rebuttal to Nutley Mayor's Open Letter

TAPinto Nutley will continue to follow the On3 story as new tenants move in, new projects are updated, and the turn war between the parties evolves.
