SPARTA,NJ- A flock of turkeys came for a visit on Sparta Mountain. Three hens and about 20 chicks made quite a racket as they foraged through the woods and across the yard in the evening on Saturday night. The Hens were protective of the young, often stopping to wait for stragglers. They softly gobbled encouragement to the little one's to pick up the pace.
