Two of Three Incumbents Running for Seats on Board of Education

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Incumbents Evan Lerner and Ann Marie Mead are running in the November general elections for new three-year terms on the board of education.

Board member Arvind Mathur is not seeking re-election this year.

The deadline to submit petitions to run for the board of education in the general election was 4 p.m. Monday.

Five people are running for two open seats representing Bridgewater on the board of education. They are Ali Ali, of Cain Court; Christopher Larsen, of Running Brook Road, Barry Walker, of Mountain Top Road; Lisa Weinstock, of Bradley Lane; and Lerner.

Raritan Borough elects one representative to the regional board of education. Mead is the only person running to represent Raritan.

All are running for three-year seats on the board of education.

Elections will be held Nov. 4.

Local YMCAs Holding Camp Open Houses

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater and Somerville YMCAs are holding two Camp Open Houses, Jan. 28 and Feb. 25 from 10 p.m. to 1 p.m.
