Two Pedestrians Injured in Drive-By Shooting Sunday Morning

PATERSON, NJ - Two teen-age city residents were wounded in an apparent drive-by shooting early Sunday morning.

According to Lt. Patrick Murray, the victims, males age 18 and 19, were were walking together on East 28th Street toward 10th Avenue at around 12:10 a.m. when a vehicle--possibly a black four-door sedan--pulled up to the victims. Numerous shots were fired from the vehicle, which then fled in an unknown direction.

One victim was in stable condition at St. Joseph's Medical Center with wounds to his right leg and right foot. The other victim was treated and released for a wound to his upper right leg.
