Union County Master Gardeners Have a Lot to Celebrate

The Master Gardeners are celebrating their 25th year of providing volunteer community gardening, land stewardship and horticultural therapy services in Union County.

In 2013, they are also reaching the milestone of having grown and donated 20,000 lbs. of fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs to local food pantries and soup kitchens.

KINGS and HOME DEPOT-GARWOOD enabled the installaton of a new kitchen in the building where the MGs prep and weigh their produce for donation.
