BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Mountain Ridge Bible Chapel is offering a free Bible Camp on July 7 through 11. The camp will take place at 763 Mountain Avenue in Berkeley Heights.
There are two sessions being offered: the morning session is 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for preschoolers through grade five. An evening session is 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for those entering grades six through 12.
The Bible Camp will feature the theme “Exploring the nature of God.” Don Dunkerton, former missionary to Spain, will present the 2014 program for the younger campers. Don heads up many successful Vacation Bible Camp programs throughout New Jersey. This year he plans to give out a treasure chest full of prizes throughout the week to reward children’s accomplishments. The evening session will feature contemporary sing-along music, activities, and Bible studies under the direction of guitarist and youth leader Andy Tremper.
There is no fee for this annual event. Children from Berkeley Heights, New Providence and all surrounding communities enjoy the fun, songs, games, water balloon launches, T-shirt paintings, and enlightening Bible stories.
