On December 4, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Beyer responded to a Taylor Rd residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered her 2013 Mercedes Benz Gl and ransacked the glove compartment and center console. Nothing appears to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 5, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Czupak stopped a 2005 Lexus 330 on South Orange Ave for having a taillight out. The investigation led to the arrest of 24 year old Romario Saint-Georges of Orange and 22 year old Abang Anatole of East Hanover for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were issued summonses and released.

On December 5, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2016 Mazda 3 for going the wrong way on Rt 124 near Hobart Gap Rd. The investigation led to the arrest of 27 year old Joshua Switz of Jackson for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Switz was issued a summons and released.

On December 5, 2018 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to a Slope Drive residence on a burglary to motor vehicles report. The resident reports between December 3-4, 2018 unknown actor/s entered a 2012 Jeep Sport and 2013 Jeep Cherokee in the driveway and ransacked the glove compartments and center consoles. Nothing appeared to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 5, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Hay responded to a Taylor Rd South residence on a theft report. The resident reports between 1:57-4:00 pm on December 4,  2018, an unknown actor/s took a Fedex package containing $126.75 worth of clothing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 6, 2018 Millburn Police Officers Beyer and Kelly responded to the Newark Police Department on a warrant arrest. Robert Kopik, age 42 of Springfield, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On December 6, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the teal deck at The Mall at Short Hills on a suspicious vehicle report. The investigation led to the arrest of 22 year old Abel Romain of Brooklyn for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Romain was issued a summons and released.

On December 7, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to the Fendi store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Fendi personnel report a black male wearing a white jacket and headband concealed 3 t-shirts valued at $1990.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 7, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to the Lacoste store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Lacoste personnel report a Hispanic female wearing a green jacket and scarf concealed a sweater valued at $185.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 8, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to headquarters on a theft report. A Park Rd resident reports the theft of packages valued at $424.16 on December 5, 2018. The investigation led to the arrest of 45 year old Jason Freeman of Newark by Detective Reblelo with the assistance of the Newark Police Department. Mr. Freeman was charged with theft and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On December 10, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Salemi responded to CVS on an attempted burglary report. Upon arrival, the front glass door was found shattered, however no entry had been gained. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 10, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Recinos responded to headquarters on a report of 2 separate thefts at the apartments at 806 Morris Tpk. The resident reports the theft of a package delivered on November 26, 2018 valued at $89.10 and December 5, 2018 valued at $21.76. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
