SPARTA, NJ — The National Chirstian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) released their soccer awards this week and Veritas Christian Academy made a prominent showing across both the boys and girls soccer awards. Leading the way is junior forward, Anna Torppey, who was named a first-team, All-American for girls’ soccer. Torppey was tied for the team lead in goals scored this season with 15 and led the team in assists with 13.
Joining Torppey on the list of NCSAA recognitions for girls soccer are senior defender, Kayla
Amels, and junior forward, Charlotte Milansi, as all three players made the NCSAA Super Regional Team of top players within the northeast region of schools.
On the boys side, junior midfielder, Max Ryan, was named to the Super Regional Team for the northeast region of schools. This marks Ryan’s first postseason award from the NCSAA and with likely more accolades ahead entering his senior campaign.
The Veritas Christian Academy boys and girls soccer programs are in good shape for the coming year with 3 out of 4 postseason award winners returning for their senior year and coming off a year in which both teams finished the regular season atop the standings of the Metro Christian Athletic Association.
