Vernon Rotary Club Selected to Receive Grant

VERNON, NJ - The Vernon Township Rotary Club has been awarded a grant from Rotary International.

The Vernon Rotary Club has been helping families and various charities both locally and internationally since it received its charter from Rotary International almost 50 years ago. 

For the past 20 years, the club’s annual golf outing has been its major fundraiser.  This year, however, through the work of its past president, Susan George, the club has been successful in being awarded additional funding in the form of the grant.

The Vernon Rotary Club was selected to receive this grant over many other competing clubs. The club’s timeline for distributing the funds is two years, and all funds will be used within Vernon Township.

The Vernon Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the banquet room at the George Inn located at 84 Route 94 South, in Vernon (McAfee).
