MORRISTOWN, NJ - Last week, the secret service determined that Baltusrol would not be secure enough for the Vice President of the United States, so the Webber for Congress event, headlining Vice President Mike Pence, was moved to a secret private location in Morristown.
Over 200 people attended the event which also included Senior Whitehouse Advisor Kellyanne Conway and several state and local officials.
The Vice President spoke positively and optimistically about Jay Webber and his family, including his seven children who were all present. The event was held outdoors in a tent and although guests started arriving before 11 a.m., the Vice President of the United States didn't get to the podium until almost 2 p.m. Secret Service helicopters hovered above in the air while secret service agents positioned themselves throughout the property.
There was a private photo VIP event before the general session.
