Village Green Pedestrian Improvement Project Begins Tuesday

SUMMIT, NJ - The Village Green Pedestrian Improvement Project begins Sept. 24 and continues through Nov. 15. The work zone will extend from Maple Street to Summit Avenue, and Broad Street to Railroad Avenue, and will be enclosed with fencing.

The scope of the project includes removal of interior walks, some tree removal, installation of newly aligned walkways, and lighting enhancements.

Pedestrians are asked to use caution and allow additional time to use the perimeter sidewalks during construction, and commuters should be advised to allow extra time to catch their train.
