PATERSON, NJ - Mayor Andre Sayegh took to Facebook on Monday to call for Paterson to “unite,” while members of the city council will convene in their chamber for an emergency meeting at 2:00 p.m.

Both came in the wake of a weekend that saw a 43-year-old woman shot and killed while making a delivery for Door Dash and a 13-year-old boy found dead just a block away.

While social media posts and several sources that asked to remain anonymous have indicated he was a victim of a shooting, circumstances of the boy’s death are still under investigation, and no information has been released publicly.
