Zumba on Zoom

Shake it up with JPL during this fun and calorie burning workout. Yes, Zumba is dancing, but enthusiasts will also tell you that it is a great way to get full body and cardio exercise. Certified Zumba instructor Krista Bremer will guide you through what it takes to Zumba on Zoom!

Online Drawing Workshop: Pointillism Art Seascape

Tuesday, June 16, 10:30-11:30am

Barbara Freiberg will teach participants how to create a pointillism art seascape inspired by George Seurat's artwork. First, learn how to sketch a seascape and then how to fill in your drawing using the pointillism art technique.  

Suggested supplies include: 1 Piece of White Paper- (8X8), 1 Piece of White Practice Paper - (8X8 or larger), Regular Pencil, Eraser, Assorted Colors of One of the Following - Markers, Colored Pencils, Watercolor Pencils, Crayons

Virtual Open Mic Night Featuring Beatboxer SungBeats

Open Mic Night is online this month and featuring YOU!  Feeling a little bottled up lately? Missing your usual outlets or audiences for your creativity? Even if you would just like to provide a supportive listening ear for other performers, please join us for this special version of our monthly Open Mic Night.

This month we will also have an amazing featured performer: New York City native, Sung Lee. He is an award-winning, international beatboxer and live looper who creates engaging, high energy, bass thumping music with only his mouth as the instrument. Learn all about your VA Benefits from a representative of the Department of Veteran Affairs. Teen Summer Reading Program

June 29-August 14

The Johnson Public Library will be hosting its popular Teen Summer Reading Program online this year for all students entering Grades 7-12 in Fall 2020.
