Wardlaw+Hartridge Students Deliver Capstone Presentations

EDISON, NJ -- Eight seniors at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison completed many months of hard work by making their Capstone presentations in the past two weeks. This project, a requirement to graduate with the Global Scholars Program diploma, involves many components including a written paper, action research component and a presentation in front of students and a panel of teachers.

This year's presenters and topics were:

  • Eddie Martinez of Scotch Plains - Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games: Effects on Adolescents
  • Mia Reyes of Piscataway - Gene Therapy: Mobilizing the Developing World, Cathy Bi of Edison - The 21st Century Crisis: Artificial Intelligence,
  • Suraj Chandran of Edison - Accelerating Renewable Energy Infrastructures,
  • Lauren Kisare of Bridgewater - Beneficial or Harmful? Ethical Implications of Medical Voluntourism,
  • Simu Singh of Monroe - Transnational Organized Crime in North America: Victims, Perpetrators, and Market Influences,
  • Amanjot Kaur of Iselin - Effects of the Pharmaceutical Industry on the General Consumer, and Mrunali Patel of Edison - Practical Solutions to the Mental Illness Crisis in Urban India.
The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison is Central Jersey’s premier PreK-12 independent school. The campus is located at 1295 Inman Avenue in North Edison, near the Scotch Plains border and just five miles from downtown Westfield.
