EDISON, NJ - The girls' tennis team at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison captured a share of the GMC Blue Division title with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Highland Park. Becky Qin of Iselin came through with a clutch three-set triumph at third singles that spanned two days in the decisive match. The Rams finished undefeated at home en route to an amazing 18-2 season.
Congratulations to head coach Ron Haynes and his lineup including Sydney Kuo of Edison at first singles, Shankari Theivanayagam of Summit at second singles, and the doubles teams of Kapriana Payami of Scotch Plains and Naischa Puri of Edison and Sydney Sweeney of Cranford and Cami Martinez of Scotch Plains.
