Washuta Layup with :02 Left Edges Hanover Park, 46-44

CHATHAM, NJ - Natalie Washuta dropped in a layup with two seconds left to give Chatham a 46-44 girls basketball victory over Hanover Park on Tuesday night.

Senior forward Meghan Maquire, who led all scorers with 20 points, had scored on an offensive rebound to tie the game at 44-44 for Hanover Park (4-1) before Washuta responded with the winning basket that gave her a career-high 18 points.

Forward Colleen Mulvaney contributed eight points and nine rebounds for Chatham (4-2), which received nine points from guard Cassandra Falone.

Chatham Players to Hold Auditions for Ken Ludwig’s “Moon Over Buffalo”

The Chatham Players will hold auditions for Ken Ludwig’s “Moon Over Buffalo” on Tuesday, December 27th and 28th at 7:30pm. All auditions will occur at The Chatham Playhouse 23 North Passaic Ave.  Production dates are February 24 thru March 11, 2017 with rehearsals to begin early January.
