Watchung Hills Boys Basketball Defeats Ferris, 63-49

WARREN, NJ - Josh Goetz led Watchung Hills with 13 points in a decisive victory over Ferris, 63-49, on Saturday afternoon.

After falling behind in the first,  Watchung Hills outscored Ferris, 20-14, in the second period to take control of the game. The Warriors took a  34-25 lead into the half. 

Justin Howell and Mark Ball scored 11 points apiece in the victory and Justin LaCapra scored nine.

Despite the score, the Warriors continue to miss second chance opportunities, free throws, and turn over the ball.

Head Coach Justin Salton has said,"We have to clean up the turnovers. Turnovers, free throws and second chance opportunities. We're still giving up too many rebounds." 

Aaron Burell led Ferris with 19 points and Bryan Morel scored 17 for the Bulldogs.
Watchung Hills faces Franklin, in Franklin, on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
