Watchung Hills Comes Back To Tie Only To Be Topped By Bound Brook, 65-58 In SCT

WARREN, NJ - Mark Ball finished with 20 points to lead Watchung Hills but, led by the explosive Shane Stevens, Bound Brook topped Watchung Hills, 65-58, in the second round of the Somerset County Tournament.
Anthony Rocchietti added 18 points for the Warriors.
After Shane Stevens picked up a technical foul and Bound Brook head coach Anthony Melesurgo got another T for defending him, Mark Ball made four free throws to cut the Bound Brook lead to two points. He then hit two more free throws three possessions later to tie the game with less than six minutes remaining. 

Stevens rebounded  with a 3-pointer from almost half court to give Bound Brook the lead. 
Bound Brook  led by as much as 14 points in the first half before Watchung Hills woke up in the third, outscoring Bound Brook, 15-10 in the third quarter.
Watchung Hills had low expectations at the beginning of the season and has greatly exceeded expectations. With the loss today, the Warriors are now 9-7.
Bound Brook's Shane Stevens has had four 30-point games this season.
