Watchung Hills Football Team Routs Scotch Plains-Fanwood, 39-6

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Watchung Hills  held Scotch Plains-Fanwood to just 85 yards of offense for the game as the Warriors rolled to a 39-6 rout over the Raiders. Ten different Watchung Hills ballcarriers combined for 444 yards rushing.

Ryan Cunningham led the way for the Warriors on an 81-yard scoring run on their first play from scrimmage. Cunningham finished with 240 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. This season, Cunningham has rushed for 1,287 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Ben Gomes had 81 yards rushing and a score, and Joe Giacomo rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown for the Warriors and Jake Bloom recovered a fumble in the end zone after a Giacomo run for another Watchung Hills'  touchdown.

With 5:07 left, Emendo Thomas scored for the Raiders. Thomas rushed for 44 yards for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, while Kobe White had 33 yards.
