Watchung Hills Girls Ultimate Team Wins NJ State Championship

MERCERVILLE, NJ -The Watchung Hills Lady Warriors Ultimate Team won the NJ State Championship Tournament on Saturday, May 24 going undefeated in all three of their games with victories over West Windsor, Columbia, and Westfield.

The team, led by captains Evey Le and Kristy Huang along with seniors Annika Chang and Tammy Shen, played three 90 minute games.  They won the first easily with a score of 15-1 over West Windsor Plainsboro South High 
School.  In the second game, Watchung Hills shut out Columbia High School of Maplewood, 15-0. 
The Lady Warriors then advanced to the championship round against Westfield High School. After playing a very close game, Watchung Hills won the NJ State Championship with a score of 9-7.
