BLOOMFIELD, NJ - A mater main broke in Bloomfield causing a service interruption for homes and businesses.
The Bloomfield Department of Engineering has released the following statement:
On Tuesday, August 14th, a service line was pulled on Belleville Avenue creating a substantial water main leak on the 12-inch line.
In order to repair it, there will be a substantial water service loss on Belleville Avenue and some of the side streets from Patton Drive (Forest Hills) to the dead end at the Belleville border.
We anticipate the service loss to last through the afternoon.
