ELIZABETH, NJ - Waterfront Movie Night will be showing a double feature Saturday, October 10 of “Jurassic Park” and “Jurassic World.”

The outdoor movie night is being sponsored by The City of Elizabeth, First Ward Councilman Carlos Torres and Amerigroup, and will take place at the Elizabeth Waterfront at 101 Front Street.

Spaces will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis.  The parking lot gates will open at 4 p.m. and the first movie is set to begin at 6:15 p.m.

Councilman Torres encourages residents to bring their own snacks and drinks.

Mario’s pizza will also be open for takeout.

These movie nights began three years ago, when Councilman Torres organized the first outdoor showing of “Moana.”

Drive-in theaters have been gaining popularity since the start of the pandemic as a way for people to watch movies while maintaining social distancing.
