PATERSON, NJ- A Wayne man will be back in court on August 29 to face charges related to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident that took place on July 28.

According to  a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, Jospeh Zonhobl, 57, was arrested on Tuesday.

The accident, which occurred at approximately 6:37 p.m., left the victim with serious injuries for which he received treatment at Saint Joseph’s Hospital.

After striking the boy, the report reads, Zinhobl, driving a 2010 white Toyota Tacoma,fled the scene west on River Street.
