Do you have a chair that needs to be re-glued, caned or rushed? Does a table or bookcase need some attention? If you have furniture that you would like to have repaired, the volunteer craftspeople at the SAGE Furniture Restoration Workshop can help.

Since 1961, the workshop has offered fine-quality furniture repairing for great prices and serves as a major fundraiser to support SAGE Eldercare's programs and services. Volunteers, who have gained their skills through years of woodworking and furniture repair as a hobby, run the workshop on Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

All proceeds go to SAGE Eldercare, a nonprofit organization that is concerned with supporting the independence and quality of life for older adults, their families and caregivers by offering fourteen programs to residents of Union, Essex, Morris, and Somerset Counties in NJ and beyond.

The workshop is located on the lower level of SAGE Eldercare's offices at 290 Broad Street in Summit, NJ. For questions or more information, call 908.598.5531.
