The American Horse Council (AHC) will conduct its third quarter webinar on Monday, Aug. 13, at 3 p.m examining sports betting.
The hour-long session will feature two industry experts and discuss the changing marketplace arising from the recent Supreme Court case which overturned federal bans on state sports betting programs.
Sports betting experts Brian Wyman of the Innovation Group and Jessica Feil, Esq., with the D.C.-based Ifrah Law Firm will share economic and legal perspectives as the industry adapts to the challenges and opportunities presented by the new legal framework moving forward.
Jessica Feil is an associate with the firm of Ifrah Law PLLC, in Washington, D.C., and focuses on esports, skill-based gaming, and daily fantasy sports issues, topics on which she presents frequently at legal and gaming industry events. Also, Jessica is no stranger to the courtroom, having worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office in Ohio.
Brian Wyman, PhD., is a principal with the Innovation Group, which provides analysis for the gaming sector and has offices located in Denver, CO, Orlando, FL and New Orleans, La.. Brian focuses on gaming analytics and specializes in advanced modeling and predictive methods, which he applies to business strategies to improve financial performance. He has more than a decade of experience and holds a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Michigan.
The webinar is open to all. The webinar lasts approximately one hour, and will allow for Q&A at the end of each speaker’s presentation.
