PATERSON, NJ - The Paterson Firefighters Association, in partnership with the Paterson Police Benevolent Association, are hosting a Memorial Day weekend carnival at Paterson's Great Falls.

Rides, games, food, and entertainment will be part of the fun at the three-day event to be held on the McBride Avenue Extension and be open 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Friday, the first night of the carnival, was, organizers say, a success.

Money raised at the carnival will be used to help improve community parks throughout the city.

"We hope that our neighbors from all over Paterson will come out this weekend, have a great time, and help raise money for an important cause," Kyle Hughes, President of Paterson FMBA Local 2 said. "Our firefighters and police officers are committed to building an even better Paterson, and our annual carnival is an important part of that."
