West Essex to Host Tournament of Bands Chapter X Championship on Sunday

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - Sunday at 1pm, high school bands from around northern and central New Jersey and southeastern New York will be gathering at West Essex High School for the Tournament of Bands Chapter X Championship. The event is the culmination of eight weeks of performance trials featuring 25 marching bands, color guards and percussion ensembles. The occasion will also include a raffle and 50/50 benefitting the organization. The West Essex Marching Knights are currently seeded as first in their group and on Sunday will be performing “The Rite of Spring: Recoiled.” Ticket prices are $10 per person for a full day of music and competition. The high school is located at 65 West Greenbrook Road, North Caldwell.
