West Essex Winners in the Annual Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show

CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr.  announced that  Steve Van Zandt from North Caldwell, Joseph Mango from Roseland, and William Heina and Donald Hults from Fairfield were among the 31 Essex County artists who received awards in the Annual Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show. 

Van Zandt won second place in the professional photography category for "Nantucket - 4th of July." Mango won first place in the non-professional craft category for "Tuscan Taverna" and first place in the non-professional acrylic category for "Tuscan Hillside." Heina won second place in the non-professional sculpture category for "Oddity." Hults won first place in the professional photography category for "Ernie."

The artists were recognized during an awards ceremony on Wednesday, August 27th at the Essex County Hospital
Center in Cedar Grove. This year, 100 entries were submitted for review.
