WEST ORANGE, NJ — After approving R-Pat Solutions, LLC, as the firm to conduct the search for a permanent superintendent, the West Orange Board of Education (WOBOE) is now seeking input from the community. In order to do so, the board has announced that it will be hosting a series of public meetings to discuss what qualities and skills stakeholders want to see in the superintendent profile.
According to the WOBOE, the meetings will be held as follows:
For Staff/Faculty: Two meetings will be held on May 1 in the West Orange High School (WOHS) auditorium: one for WOHS staff and faculty at 2:30 p.m., and one for staff/faculty from all other schools at 3:40 p.m.
For District Administrators: A meeting will be held on May 2 in the WOHS auditorium at 4:30 p.m.
For West Orange Parents/Community: Meetings will be held on May 1 in the WOHS auditorium at 7 p.m. and on May 2 in the Edison Middle School auditorium at 7 p.m.
For those unable to attend one of the meetings, an online survey is available HERE to be completed by May 2.
