WEST ORANGE, NJ — Fresh off a first-place victory in the Essex County Relays, the West Orange High School (WOHS) girls track team won the Essex County championship for the first time since 2003 at the countywide meet held over the weekend at WOHS.

The Mountaineers had 127 team points, and Montclair trailed in second place with 69.

The West Orange girls will now head into the NJSIAA Sectional Championships next week, culminating with the Meet of Champions on June 8.
