West Orange High School Chinese Club to Present Chinese Culture Celebration at Library

WEST ORANGE. NJ - The West Orange High School Chinese Club will be holding a Chinese Cultural Celebration on Sunday, March 2 at 2:00 pm at the West Orange Public Library, 46 Mt. Pleasant Avenue.  

The event is geared for familiess with younger children and will include a performance by the Chinese Club members of the story "Zodiac;" followed family participation in Chinese cultural activities and arts and crafts.

Games and activities will include pin the tail on the dragon, panda bean toss, and Chinese feather Hacky sack. Prizes will be given to the children for playing.

There will be face-painting, zodiac coloring, paper-folding, calligraphy, and more.

The event is free and open to the public. Bring the kids out to enjoy some fun activities with the Chinese Club high schoolers, many of whom have been participating in the award-winning Mandarin language program in the school district.
