West Orange High School Senior Signs National Letter of Intent with Pace University

WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange High School senior and standout co-captain and linebacker for the West Orange High School Football team, D.J. Grant, today signed a National Letter of Intent with Pace University. Grant signed the letter in the Library Media Center at the high school as parents David and Kimberly, Principal Hayden Moore, head football coach Jim Matsakis, and assistant coach Rob Lomoriello, looked on.

Grant will join the Pace Setters Football team as a linebacker and plans to major in Business and Marketing. Pace University, located in the New York City area, is a NCAA Division II level school.

When asked how he felt about the signing, he said, "I was anxious until I heard from Pace. I am so happy."

In addition to his outstanding record as a linebacker, Grant was co-captain of the football team and also has a strong record with the high school track team.

The polite and well-spoken Grant also fronts a Hip-Hop band "M.O.A.," (Music Over All) and plans to continue working with them, developing the act, writing material, and performing, even after he begins at Pace.
