West Orange Police Department Announces Upcoming NJ Civil Service Commission Law Enforcement Examination

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The State of New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC) would like the community to know that  public safety entry level positions in all Civil Service jurisdictions are up for testing. Interested parties must take and pass the Law Enforcement Examination written exam if they are interested in becoming a police officer. 

If a qualfied applicant passes the exam, they will remain in an eligible pool for two years, and eligible candidates will be selected from that pool. 

To ascertain if you are eligible according to Civil Service criteria, and to apply for the Entry Level Law Enforcement exam, go to .state.nj.us/csc/seekers/jobs/safety. The deadline is Sept. 4.
