WEST ORANGE, NJ — An Ashland Avenue resident reported to West Orange police that the tires and rims of his 2020 Honda Accord had been stolen from his driveway.

According to the police, sometime either late Friday night, Sept. 18 or early Saturday morning, an unknown number of suspects went into the owner's driveway and removed four 18-inch tires and the aluminum rims from the vehicle, which was left sitting on cinder blocks.

In other cases still under investigation by West Orange police, on Friday afternoon, a package delivered by Amazon was stolen from a William Street residence at around 4 p.m. According to police, the suspect entered through the exterior fence of the woman's residence, walked up the stairs and took the package. The suspect then escaped walking east on William Street.

Sometime between Saturday morning, Sept. 19, and Sunday evening, a Giordano Drive resident reported that three separate deck lights on the property had been cut. One of the cut lights had been placed on a couch on a deck on the property. The other two lights had been removed from the deck completely.
