West Orange Rec and Mayor Parisi Invite Residents to Halloween Event At Liberty Middle School Monday, November 5

WEST ORANGE, NJ -  Although Halloween had to be canceled last Wednesday due to Hurricane Sandy, Mayor Parisi and West Orange Rec have organized a fun afternoon of Halloween shows, the comedy classic Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein, and refreshments at 4:15 for kids and residents of all ages tomorrow at Liberty Middle School, 1 Kelly Drive, from 1-5 pm. This last minute addition to the Rec Department's list of community activities is meant to provide a safe Halloween alternativeto our families and community.  West Orange will be celebrating Gov. Christie's "Make-Up Halloween" in style with the following

West Orange continues to experience energy issues and road closures and the Township is concerned. Going door to door on Monday, in some neighborhoods, may be hazardous. Admission to the movie marathon and dinner is free for West Orange residents and their families. Halloween candy will be distributed after the movies.

Children can dress in costumes, but it is not required.

Andy’s Family Music Showcases Alex Weiss on Drums

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Andy’s Family Music Center of Livingston is proud to highlight 11-year-old Alex Weiss, a fifth grader at Collins Elementary School with an aptitude for drums.
