West Orange Rec Expanding Junior Lacrosse Program

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange Department of Recreation has announced the expansion of the township's Junior Lacrosse program with the addition of a third- and fourth-grade traveling team. The program currently has fifth/sixth and seventh/eighth-grade traveling teams. Each team will play a home and away schedule that includes tournament play.

Aspiring players in grades  K-2 are invited to participate in the “Little Lax” Clinic on Sundays. The clinic is run by Dan Lederer the new Head Lacrosse Coach at West Orange High School. 

Suriano Stadium, complete with a new state-of-the-art lighting system, is home base for the West Orange Junior Lacrosse Program.  All games, practices and clinics are held on the turf field.

The Junior Lacrosse program is run by the West Orange Rec Department. Registration forms are available on the Rec website – and will also be distributed through the schools in January. .
