West Orange School District Announces Integrated Preschool Program for 2014-2015

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange Public School District has announced that application forms for its Integrated Preschool Program for 2014-2015 are now available on the Board of Education website at  Application forms are also available at the Board of Education Central Office building in the Student Support Services Department, 179 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange.

There is a tuition fee for the preschool program of $300 per month. To meet eligibility requirements, students must be residents of West Orange and be four years old on or before October 1, 2014. Enrollment in this program is limited, and a lottery drawing will be held at 8:00 am on Friday, March 28 at the West Orange Board of Education. Applicants do not need to be present during the selection process.

Special Education students will also be included in this program based on the determinations of the Child Study Team.
West Orange Preschool program classes will be held at Pleasantdale School from 8:45 am - 11:25 am for the morning session and 12:15 noon to 3:23 p.m. for the afternoon session, Monday through Friday.
Busing is not provided and parents are responsible to transport their children to and from school.
The deadline for completed applications is Tuesday, March 25, 2014. If your child is accepted into the Preschool program, the Registrar's office must be contacted in order for you to make an appointment to register your child.
