West Orange Store Sells Winning Lottery Ticket

WEST ORANGE, NJ - A winning Jersey Cash Five ticket in the amount of $147,985 was purchased in West Orange at the Pleasant Valley Food Store, 468 Pleasant Valley Way,  in an announcement made today by the New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger. The drawing took place on Sept. 30.

Two other winners, one in Manahawkin at the Bay Avenue Farm, and the other, at a 7-11 on Elmora Avenue in Elizabeth, will also each receive $147,985.

Hedinger noted that the three winning tickets matched all five numbers drawn: 04, 10, 12, 20, and 31.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at the Pleasant Valley Food Store, Bay Avenue Farm and 7-11 #39230,” she said. “For selling these tickets, each retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, they have become three more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
195 players won cash prizes of $442 each for picking four numbers, and 6,594 players won $9 each for picking three numbers.
