West Orange to Hold Worldwide Candle Lighting at Toby Katz Center on December 8

December 7, 2013 at 1:45 AM

WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange Township, in conjunction with the Nikhil Badlani Foundation, will hold the Second Annual Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting Ceremony at the Toby Katz Community Center on Sunday, December 8 beginning at 6:45 pm.

Last year's ceremony was a touching tribute to Nikhil Badlani and other children whose lives ended too soon.

Millions of family and friends around the world gather for one hour to light candles, recognize lost loved ones, and create a  virtual 24-hour wave of light as it moves from time zone to time zone around the world.

This comes a year after the circus, due to mounting pressures from animal rights activists, got rid of the elephants.

It is not really ...
