The free events are made possible by proceeds from the 2013 Greta’s Run, a 5K fundraiser in memory of Westfield High School Student Greta Schoenemann. The second annual Greta’s Run will be held Sept. 14. All members of the community are encouraged to run, walk or roll. For more information, click here.
The goal of the program samplers is to determine next steps for programming at the Y for young adults with special needs. Future programs will require a Y membership. Financial assistance is available and class cost will be subsidized by Greta’s Run proceeds. The Westfield Area Y accepts Easter Seals.
