WESTFIELD, NJ — Dustin Friedland, the 30-year-old man killed in a carjacking at the Short Hills Mall Dec. 14, was an attorney at Learner David Littenberg Krumholz & Mentlik, a property law firm at 600 South Ave. West in Westfield.
Friedland was no longer working at the firm, but partner Michael Teschner said that everyone who worked there was very upset.
“He was a very sweet kid. Everybody was broken up,” said Teschner. “He was a lovely individual. Very polite. Very personable. We were all shocked and dismayed.”
Friedland, who lived in Hoboken, was laid to rest Dec. 18. A reward of $41,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of his killers. To read more about this story, click here.
