WESTFIELD, NJ — Catch Westfield’s High School’s first ever Play-Hem theater event on Dec. 7. Students will perform a collection of skits and scenes from such sources as Saturday Night Live, Metamorphoses (the school's fall play) and various other shows. Play-Hem is sponsored by the Westfield Theatre Guild.

“There has been a lot of work put into this production, mainly because it’s the first year we're trying to get it up on its feet and we didn't have a lot of people come in to sign up for it,” said junior Lauren Echausse, who is running the event. “So the hardest part was spreading the word about the production and what it was all about. But the people that are involved with it are truly incredible and are going to do awesome this weekend.”

Play-Hem will take place at 7 p.m. in WHS Cafeteria B.  Admission is $5 for students and $10 for adults.
