WESTFIELD, NJ — About 200 students and parents attended a Share the Keys event at Westfield High School last week that taught them the importance of safe driving among teens. Share the Keys was created by Kean University in partnership with the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety and New Jersey State Police.

The event began with a presentation on research related to driver safety among teens, followed by a discussion involving representatives from State Farm, DonTre Driving School, the Westfield Physical Education Department and the Westfield Police Department.
