WESTFIELD, NJ — If you love New York's Upper East Side, you’ll love Westfield, according to Time Out New York. The magazine listed Westfield as "one of the coolest places in New Jersey" for New Yorkers this week in a “neighborhood conversion guide” that recommends trades from trendy New York City neighborhoods for those in the Garden State.
“ … for those who can afford it, Westfield features the ideal merging of suburban serenity with a pedestrian-friendly main drag,” according to the article. It called the Rialto Theater the area’s most eye-catching attraction “whose neat old Art Deco marquee is straight out of a Woody Allen film,” and mentions the downtown’s yearly summer jazz festival, which features concerts at four locations each Tuesday night from July through August.
