Westfield Optimist Club Seeks Support for Safe, Fun Graduation Party

WESTFIELD, NJ — This June, the Optimist Club of Westfield will host its 25th BASH, an all-night, substance-free graduation party for Westfield High School’s graduating seniors. In past years, approximately 85 percent of the graduating classes have attended BASH.

The Optimist Club is seeking financial contributions to help support and continue the event.

On Thursday, April 24, The Party Stop and Costume Corner at 932 South Avenue West in Westfield will donate 15 percent of all sales and reserved costume or party rentals to BASH.

Local business owners can also help by advertising in the Westfield High School 2014 Graduation Program Book. The dollars raised through the program journal will not only help fund the Optimist Club Project Graduation but also many other service projects benefiting Westfield’s community. The journal is distributed to over 1,500 parents, family, friends and staff attending the graduation ceremony, and advertisers will be recognized in a press release thanking sponsors and supporters of the Optimist Club 2014 Project Graduation - BASH.

The deadline to be included in the WHS 2014 Graduation Program Journal is June 9.  For more information, contact, Darielle Walsh, Optimist Club Project Graduation - BASH Chairperson, at 908-612-7374.
