WESTFIELD, NJ -- As snow continues to fall Dec. 14, police are asking residents to stay off the roads.

"Only travel if necessary and remove all cars from the roadway so the snow plows can do proper snow removal," said Westfield Police Chief David Wayman.

A winter storm warning remains in effect for the area until 6 a.m. Sunday morning. The National Weather Service predicts that the snow will mix with and change to freezing rain after midnight.
