WESTFIELD, NJ – For the first time in 21 years, the town’s Historic Preservation Commission has designated a home as historic. The homeowner chairs the Planning Board.

A plan to put taller power poles along the full length of South Avenue may not go that route, but nobody will know for sure until the utility putting up the new wires finishes its cost estimates for a new path.
