Westfield Robotics FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams 7102 and 5968 representing Westfield High School and Edison Intermediate School ended the qualifying season in 1st and 2nd place and a spot in the NJ FTC State Championship. Team 7102 was awarded the Parkway Division Finalist Award after moving into the divisional finals against former World Championship teams. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization devoted to helping young people discover and develop a passion for science, engineering, technology, and math.
